After a couple months of searching, I finally found my dream ride. 2004 GX470 in Ash Blue Mica with 223k miles! Non-nav, non ML.

I ended up getting it from the General Manager of a large dealership. At first I had no idea, but I realized I knew the GM from way back and this ended up being his brother's car that he traded in!

It is in great condition, definitely not a new car, but for 14 years old and 223k miles, great condition.

The kicker: I paid $6.4 including taxes out the door. About 10 months ago, the previous owner spent $6.7k at the Lexus dealership baselining maintenance and replacing a bunch of stuff (the Lexus dealer I got the PPI from showed me the total bill lol)

Couple questions for you guys:
-The key fob: Any other options you'd recommend other than the YotaMD keys?
-Tires: Will need new tires in a few months. Any recommendations? I will either have stock rims or I'm thinking about upgrading to the TRD Pro SEMA wheels
-Head Unit: Can I get the Sony XAV-AX100 to work? Would I have to rewire everything or is there a good harness I can buy?

Thanks for all the help through this search process!

That’s a great score! I’m jelly!

I wrote about tires and oem stock wheels here: GX470 Primer for the Ideal Mild-Build for Under $3000

If you want to stay kinda stock for a while with the oem stock rims, then I recommend skinny tall tires like the 255/75R17=32x10 or the 255/80R17=33x10 in nitro ridge grapplers.

If you are ready to make more modifications with wider fatter tires, then get the nicer TRD wheels and be ready to do some trimming with 285/70R17s or bigger. Also, spare tire location won’t fit unless you let the air out
