RE: Thank you for the offer

I am way in for a set for my '92. I am not too worried about steps or anything else OTHER than protection. However, if everyone else for my year(s) is specific about what they want, I'm flexible. If your truck for fitment falls through, let me know. Mine is not my DD, so I can leave it for a bit. I might need a ride home to Ontario:)

Thank you for the offer. Let's see who else has 91-92's that are interested. If we get some sincere interest, we'll knock those out too.

RE: Rub Rail Angle

What's the current angle?

My apologies. I shouldn't have just thrown a number out there. They are currently 41 degrees. So say a 21-22 degree angle would split the difference.

If others do not come through, how much for a set for my '92. As I'm sure you know, there is a lack of quality sliders out there specifically made for the '91-'92. I'd love to keep my money local.

The 21-22 deg. Angle sounds about what I was looking for.

I'm not getting automatic updates since the software switch. We have material and laser cut parts in house. We are building 5 sets of the 95-97 at a 22.5 degree angle. We will see how well these move and look into the other years. If we have all 5 sets powder coated, we can get them done for $80 a set. We may just coat them all and offer them done. We're approx 4 weeks out. First come first serve with deposit. Otherwise, they will be in stock and available. I've always hated the group buy hangups, so we are just making them and will have them.

Thanks,
Brian

Brian, I'm interested in a step type for my 80 and powdercoated. Can I still keep the mudflaps on the front with your application? Thanks.

Hi,

Honestly haven't tried to re-install the mudflaps. I know the mudflap would have to cut to accommodate the slider. These will be 22.5 degrees. They can be used as a step, but not considered a traditional step style slider.

@Diesel 80 do you have a current picture of the angle the tube sits at ? I really like the sliders and the price is right where I'm looking. My only concern is because they don't have bump outs, and the tube hugs the rocker, that you could take a rock to the lower part of the door. I'm assuming if you've dropped the angle of the tube then this would no longer be a concern.

Hi,

We ran through quite a few sets of these. Due to big projects & everyday chaos, we've actually decided to SELL the fixture, CAD drawings and notes. We just don't have time. I haven't advertised anywhere yet, but someone with some fab skills could have a turn key business. If someone sees this and is interested, please email me at AXXISOFFROADGMAIL.COM.

To better help you, we are dealers for MetalTech, ARB, TJM & Ironman. If you see anything from those manufacturers, we can get you a quote.

Thank you,
Brian

Damn, I don't suppose you still have a set back in the corner somewhere collecting dust ? This looks like a really quality unit and I have a local guy that does freight shipping. These remind me of the Hanna sliders and I don't think you can get those anymore either.

Sorry man, I don't. The only set left is on the wifes LX... which is soon to be on the market. Buy the truck... get the sliders for FREEEE..lol. Yes, they're made like s*** brick houses.
