The factory unit should be more than sufficient and by adding extra filters you are creating a bottle neck, thus having to add a push pump near the fuel tank.
Our climate on the island will not dictate a inline fuel heater either, I believe this is a waste of money unless you plan on running bio?
The Manual pump is very budget minded and adding a water seperator is also very inexpsensive.
Flush and clean your lines from front to back and look at your fuel lines alone the frame for severe corrosion. Maybe even look at your fuel tank, could be a pile of crud in the bottom of it. Might need a clean and reseal?
Good advice. I bought a Racor with a heater on the basis that "someday" I may got to biodiesel. A neighbor of mine is looking at diesels, we may partner on a refueling station.
I'm going to partially drain the tank now that it's inside and on a level surface. I'll get as much as I can with the buckets that I have, then keep it for cleaning my motorcycle chain etc. Hopefully I'll get some crud and/or water.
