Figured I'd post it here first...'89 for sale

Due to recent events (motorcycle engine blew:frown:), I essentially have no choice but to sell my cruiser. My posts here have been somewhat sparse, but everyone here has been extremely helpful when I needed it. I lack the funds to make this truck as great as it could be. Anyway...

1989 FJ62. 265,000+ miles, still runs great Trans was rebuilt a couple years ago.
Body rust in a few spots. Nothing extensive.
New speakers :bounce:
K&N air filter (oem one was trashed, but I still have it.)

This truck would make a good trail rig or fixer upper I think.

Looking to get ~4000 (more or less just throwing a price out there), but I can work with people. Pics on request, otherwise I'll have them up in a day or so.

Have at it with the questions I suppose. Thanks.

Yep:

A (poor) repair attempt was made before I bought it:

Other things to note, part of the upholstery (is that the right word?) on the drivers side door is damaged. Pics will explain better than I can. There may also be one other rust spot that I don't have a picture of on the back. A spot on the body behind the left rear wheel well has some damage to the paint. I suspect what happened was I had some gas sloshing out due to a poorly seated gas cap. It isn't really noticeable. I think this cruiser was repainted at some point, and the gas only ate through the top layer a little bit.

I do think this truck needs a little work, it has some quirks that could probably be remedied easily someone more knowledgeable than I. I'll get some more pictures tomorrow if you're interested canuck.
