Anybody running Goodyear Fierce attitude M/T tires 285 75 16 size on a 80s LC? How's the pavement manners? And in the ruff? Post pics if possible! Thanks in advance!!!

No pics, but I put a set of 315's on my 80. The price was good ($1100 including tire certs from Discount) only issue was that there were only 5 in their chain across the country, so it took a couple week to get them all local.

On the road, they track straight, they balanced well (just past my first free rotation/balance @5,000). No vibes and the don't follow the grooves on the highway. I can steer with a couple fingers.

Off road- in mud they have cleaned well enough, in rocks (aired down) they gripped well.

The guy that mounted mine said he had a set on an F250 and got over 50,000 miles out of them.

Based on their performance to this point, I'll be buying another set when these wear out.

I have this set on my 07' Taco, and about 37 K on them. Mostly road/commuting miles, good on a snow trip afew yrs ago. Run a few dry trails in the Sierra's, and logging roads. Has done everything that I've wanted, but have not run in any serious mud. The wear has been good, if you rotate on a regular basis. The front gets the expected wear of every other lug rounding off. This is kinda a stiff tire for my light weight Taco, as compared to your 80. They do track in the ruts/wear grooves on the pavement, probably do to the aforementioned weight difference.
