Field expedient battery charging (1 Viewer)

Looks like my battery charger is not working on my trailer. I have a new to me 2013 LC. I will be using my ArkPak as my second battery charging on a DCD charger.

I was thinking of just running some 10 ga. wire straight from the ArkPak battery to the trailer battery Parallel wiring. .

What do you power gurus think ? Thanks in advance.

There is already a power wire running to the trailer if you are using the 6 blade connector. I run that directly to my trailer while driving and it charges my battery. It does use some charger in the trailer.

You can connect this power wire to your battery with some kind of 30 amp breaker and you'd be ok. I've seen other guys do that.
It is a very slow charge but it does work.
