USED American Racing Mojave teflon wheels, 16X8. STYLE NUMBER 39816838. These are a late chevy fitment six bolt on 5.5, with 3.75" backspacing which I tried to fit on my 40. I have the red dial Aisin hubs and they won't fit. Previously sold and deal fell through. I gotta charge shipping on these, sorry.

Take them away fellas......(pic number corresponds to each wheel, 1-4).

Hey Alex,

How's it going?

Do you know if they fit an 80?

Thank you.

HEY JEFF!!! The hub centers don't fit my Aisin hubs! What diameter are your 80 hubs? The bolt pattern and spacing plus offset aren't the issue.

In order to see if this works, measure the circumference of hub first.

AISIN hub is approx. 13.3" circumference using a tape measure. So...

13.3 = 3.14 x Diameter

Use a little algebra....

Divide 13.3 / 3.14 = 4.24 " Diameter

The distance from one side of the circle to the other is referred to as the Diameter of a circle. So AISIN hub is approx. 4.25"

Well i don't member no algeebra from hi skool, but I know the drive flanges off'n an 80 will fit a 40 disc axle, so no they won't fit.

Yes! They are still here.

Alex- any competent machine shop should be able to "open up" the center hole slightly to allow you to keep those wheels. I did a set of 4 wheels for a guy on my Bridgeport (before I sold it). Took about 10 minutes to set up the first one, after that it took about 30 seconds per wheel (not including putting wheels on the jig. I think I got paid a six pack of beer for that.

There's just not enough material to bore them out, as the lug holes are so close. Prove me wrong, please, and I will have them on my rig ASAP.

You only need to take off about .060 on each edge. (.120" in total diameter). The lugs are still on the same pattern as Toyota and GM (6 on 5.5"). You will remove the Teflon coating, but only at that spot, and only for two wheels (plus the spare) unless you want to be able to rotate all the wheels.
