Is anyone running a grommet for the wiring harness pass thru to the engine bay? I don't recall if Mr T had one or not when I disassembled it all.

Just seems like it's calling for one.

Is that a turn signal wire passing through the fender well? I used a standard 1/2" rubber grommet at Ace or True Value. Sold in the Electrical aisle.

Yes. It is a turn signal wire. And you did exactly what I've been thinking about.

Oddly the size of the hole where the wires pass through to the side park lights is larger than 1/2" (or 12mm or whatever it is). I'll probably have to scrounge at the auto store to find one that fits.

In a pinch, you can always split some rubber/vinyl hose lengthwise and use an appropriate length as a grommet. I've done that many a time for frame/undercarraige holes where I want a wire or cable to pass through with no chaffing.
