The PO of my BJ40 seems to have done some rust repairs to the fenders sometime in the past, nice job except there's no brackets for the indicators anymore :crybaby: He used a piece of angle-cut brass tube to secure them, which isn't very secure, basically it sux.

Probably a dumb question but does anyone make replacements for these brackets? If the answer is no can someone please post a good pic of the bracket so I can get an idea of what to make up.

To bad you didn't post 6 months ago mine were off when I repalced my indicators, they are spot welded to the fender but mine were lose PO seperated them from the fender not sure why.

if you are refering to the pillars and their base gaskets sor.com do them

regards

rob4wd got a part number or reference number can't find what you are refering to at SOR.
I believe rockcrawler is asking about the metal piece that is under the front fender that the turn signal bolts to so it sits straight on the fender.
Most after market fenders do not have this peice and with out it the signals will point downward when bolted up.

if it is the metal bracket under the fender it is very straight forward to fab out of 2mm plate or similar. i have done mine and will post piccies 2moz if req'd.

if however it is the indicator pedestals, i got some from sor, they were pn 146-06b-L AND 146-06B-R at $13.49 each .the base gaskets are not handed and are pn 146-05B at $1.79 each

regards
