I purchased a 2000 LC with a broken front diff with the intention of taking some parts off of it for myself and for sale and then scrapping it. It's seen better days inside and out, but thought it was worth a shot to try to get it running as is, especially since I had to be able to move it. The front diff locked on the highway and the driveshaft snapped causing havoc damaging some parts & claiming a piece of the engine block. I had to replace the engine oil pan because it was leaking. The transmission pan has a nice dent on it but nothing inside was damaged underneath it when we pulled it and was not leaking. I temporarily repaired a transmission fluid pipe with a piece of hose and I pulled the front hub splines to free up the front wheels. She started right up without any noises or complaints and drove away. I was impressed to say the least. These things are literally tanks! I am now thinking if it's better to sell it to someone willing to bring it back to life properly vs parting it out and sending to the scrap yard. It's a South Florida car with ~116k miles. I have to check the title but am pretty sure I got it from the 2nd owner. I don't want to sell it to someone that doesn't know what they are getting into. I think that this car is worth saving but I don't need a second rig. I still plan on taking two things off of it - the elusive rear deflector and swapping my airbag unit for this one since I have some cosmetic wear on mine, but nothing major. Other than that there isn't much there that I "must" have right now. Not really sure what to ask for it, so if you think that you are up to the task to get it all sorted send me an offer.

I’m not entirely sure how to approach pricing this out. Similar trucks are selling for 15-20k even when in rough shape cosmetically and higher mileage. I’m thinking that a 50%+ discount should cover the repairs/hassle of getting it fixed so I’m coming up with $8500 OBO.

Bump. Anyone that has a reasonable offer send it over. Hoping to not have to part it out and scrap it
