1974 FJ40 $4500 CASH or Trade
I'm not dying to get rid of my 40 but I thought I'd throw it out there and see if anybody would want to trade an 80 for it. I've had this 40 for several years and let me say up front that it is a work-horse and not a show pony but is in pretty good shape and has a few good mods and VERY solid mechanically. It is a late 74 model with a F.5 motor with a ton of compression and a 4-speed transmission. It will get you just about anywhere you want to go...just not fast. I have only used it for driving to my hunting land and trips to the store and such.

Disc Brake Conversion on ALL FOUR WHEELS and will stop on a dime.
4 speed transmission
Weber Carb
WARN - FJ40 Winch Bumper for an 8274. The winch WILL NOT go with it. It is going on my 60.
Later Model white 40 wheels (81-82 type)
32x9.50x15 Super Swampers w/maybe 300 miles on them.
New (a couple of years ago)
Turn Signals
Tail-lights
Tail-light guards
Tail-light Rock Guards
Bumperettes
Fan
Bad
Some rust in the usual spots but not awful (Floorpans are Good)
Some leaks here and there
Speedometer does not work.
That's just a brief rundown of it. I'd like to find a decent locked/lifted 80 as a trade. I know it maybe a longshot but who knows. I'm in Georgia, let me know what you have.
I do have more pics but I don't want to go to the trouble of sending them (dial-up) unless somebody is serious and has a viable trade. Also, I might be willing to throw a little cash in for the right trade if there is a value difference.
