Feel in the skinny pedal

Just a quick question. I have an 01 land cruiser. Im used to driving it around 60mph between college and home, places like that. State recently raised the speed limit to 70 and when i drive that fast theres an odd feeling in the pedal that isnt there at 60. My younger brothers 470 doesnt even have that feeling at 80, i just tested it on the way home from thanksgiving with the folks. What could it be? It feels like the motor is chugging or suckin fuel, no idea.

Maybe your tires? My Yokohoma's had "sweet spots" that they would ride much smoother. Once I hit about 75 or so it would start to feel some vibration in the gas pedal. I just put new Cooper's on, and the problem was solved, smooth at any speed. Hope this helps!
