Official meeting is at 1PM...
Club will be doing lunch.... Pot luck for dinner, breakfast if you are staying the night is up to you. Please bring camping stoves to help with the cooking if you have them as with this many people there won't be room in the kitchen for everyone. I'll be bringing mine out... might also bring my smaller grill also.
I need people to start signing up for potluck items.I'm bringing my crock pot and making chilli. Drinks are bring your own so no signing up for that ;)I'll make a seperate thread for that so we can keep track.https://forum.ih8mud.com/nc-olde-no...76-meet-greet-potluck-signup.html#post7352911

John and I took another load of firewood to the barn this weekend. Gonna bring the log splitter over Friday around noon and do some splitting and getting the barn set up.

Saturday we took his tractor over and cleared the area by the creek, to the right of the barn. Looks like 3 tents could be set up by the creek now. John built a tent pad for himself past the 2nd barn back near the well, by the creek. I guess I need to reserve that for him. Everyone else is first come, first serve. I'm sleeping in the barn!

I found a rock garden with about 5 piles of rocks down the trail, left of the 2nd barn. Other than some leaves and a few limbs, should be a good RC park.

Friend of mine told me about the off-road bike trails on the ridge behind the barn. I understand there is 3 segments you can ride that totals over 16 miles. I could only find the 2 trails, Keyauwee and Supertree, on a google search. I plan on picking up a flyer from the entrance and parking area, above the BP station on Hwy 24/27, for anyone that might be interested.

Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend!

We will arrive Saturday Morning (Friday to Fayetteville to pick up the 62) and play it by ear from there. Wife is staying with some friends back in Sanford for Sat night. I might drink to much and stick around for awhile and then head back to Al's Sunday to take care of my engine. Not sure if the wife will go for that or not.

Al I still don't have your new number. Give me a call one of these times so we can get an idea of which direction to go this weekend. My dad has the frame and axles on the FJ43 ready for paint but wants to have all of the engine mounts welded first before painting.

Dude I told u I don't have a phone right now but Andrea has my old number still 818 two 8 one nine fiver 2 zero

I shall be arriving (with evan) between 4 and 5 on friday

I'll probably drive out Saturday morning.

Trying to decide whether to bring Jackson or not. He hasn't quite got the concept of coming when I call him yet. Generally, he tries to play "Catch me if you can (which I can't)." I'd rather not have to keep him on leash the entire time I'm there.
