This is coming together nicely.

We'll be getting up there around noon saturday due to work commitments first thing Sat. morning.

As long as the weather holds out we're camping wherever the main group is.

Well I did not make it this past sat - woke up to heavy rain, lightening and thunder... but would luck have it... as i sat home working on the taxes... it cleared and by lunch it was sunny and decent... argh...
SO...

Feb 18... I think I will try again to go.
I will jet out of here to get to Marble Falls cafe by 8am... love their breakfast.
Then head to the trails right after that, say 9am.

Keeping my fingers crossed for no rain and hope to have my taxes done this weekend... I hope.

Cant wait to see pics of everybody's new rigs/mods. wish we could join y'all!

As long as the extended forecast holds out the weather should be nearly perfect. Course this is a week away and in central Texas.

Now I gotta find a 315/75 spare tire on tues/weds.

Talk about luck. Our neighborhood is on the brush recycling schedule for this week. There is freaking firewood everywhere!

I just cut up a bunch of wood down at the headwaters, tons of free wood if you want to haul it.

Ive got some nicely seasoned firewood at the house. It just needs to be split.

I'll probably bring some of the old pallets from behind our building too.

Well, I was a firefighter for 8 years...Burning stuff is fun

Midweek bump!!!!!!

It's gonna be freaking cold Saturday night

If anyone else from the SA area wants to caravan, I'll be at the Starbucks at 281 & Stone Oak/TPC Pkwy at about 8:00am Saturday morning with one of my Jeep buddies, and we'll head up from there shortly after.

What is cold? 40 degrees haha! Perfect temps! Just giving you a hard time..... I'm not sure I'm going to be able to attend. I set a deadline on my 40 to be up and running by the 26th, so I need to go over and put some dedicate time in this weekend.

What do y'all think? I don't mind cold at all but rain and cold? It looks like Saturday is going to be wet. If the rain stops and it clears Saturday night I'll stay but if it's raining all night I'm not sure I'm up for that.

Sounds messy.

Just listening to ktsa and the weather forecast is calling for clearing tomorrow afternoon and high around 68. I think it will be fine. Not gonna spoil it for me. The FJ group is also still camping Fri and sat.

They did update saturday evenings weather report. Saturday morning is still listed as rain
