Are these the right directions? I am trying to figure out what time to leave Walnut Creek in the morning.
Dave

It's easy to get there. If I recall - it's about 30 miles from Ukiah to Lake Pillsbury.
North on 101
Take Hwy 20 East towards Clear Lake.
Turn off to the left towards Potter Valley.
Turn right on Eel River Rd (signs say Lake Pillsbury & there's a little store and bar there on the corner)
Go over main bridge after the turn off for the logging road to go on the county road.
Turn right onto county road after crossing the bridge over the Eel River.
Once you get to the 4 way stop at Soda Creek - turn left towards the lake and campgrounds and you'll run into the air strip and all the cruisers.
There's also a way through Upper Lake off Hwy 20 - but that road is steep and curvy and takes a lot longer.
You can do a search on the internet too for some maps.

They are pretty close. the air strip is still 1 hour 15 minutes from Ukiah Dennys. I know because we plan an hour and are always late.

Take the time from your place to Santa Rosa, add in another 2 hours. If you make it to Dennys in Ukiah by 7:30, you can follow Dtrain and I up. We'll be having breakfast there at 7, Ron and John are buying. I suspect I'll leave Hlbg around 6:15 for Dennys, Ukiah. It is 45 minutes from my house to Ukiah.

You are also welcome to come up early and hang in Healdsburg Friday night if you want. If you show up, we can call it a party. :) PLus I have stuff there you can take back for Rubithon. (nothing much but some stuff)

If you are early enough, say 7 ish then pull off 101 at Perkins St. exit and go over freeway to Denny's, lots of cruisers to follow from there. Dave leave early.

I will not be making the journey.
1.) I do not like mud.
2.)My cruiser is still not smogged.
3.)The brakes completely failed recently.
4.)The most important factor, this weekend is a full rear axle tear down for rebuilding, and DISC BRAKE CONVERSION!!

OH YAH!!!!!!

I am takeing off tonight to go to my dads place out side of ukiah, I will see you all at lenny's.
