Well, I have needed to sell it for about 3 years now, but knew no one would buy a project at a price I could live with. Figured if I could get rid of it now, then I would be ok with it.
It is getting replaced with a milder wheeler, and something that I feel more comfortable taking my son in and not worrying about flipping over. Yep, jsut like Stu, trading a classic for a Prado platform.

Got a painter coming to my house Saturday and the wife has to go to a birthday party with my son, so I am stuck babysitting the mexicans. They couldn't do it any other day and the price was too good to put off.
I have a Mid-State meeting tomorrow, and I will talk to them about getting the club "officially" together. We should look into helping each other out, since both our members are kind of spread out in Columbia and South. Some of us will probably do the Gulches run with you guys if the weather cooperates for camping, and we should get together to do some service days at a State park or road cleanup sometime.

I got a call from Jamie. He has to go to a funeral in North Carolina and can't be there. If Scott of Greg know of a place we can meet and have lunch, I've got some items to discuss. Mostly good news.

The boathouse on the waterway is a great place to eat and meet. Its still on 501 at the old waccamaw pottery. Great food and plenty of space... Whatcha think... Can't wait to see everyone. Sparks is OK too.
