I'm planning on making it out. I don't think I'm going to bring my trailer this time

Oh come on man.........

Think we might be trying to do a bunch on Daniel. " Think be key word right now "

Found my pintle hitch bolts had stretched and loosened up after the last excursion. They're tight now.

If we're not loading rock, I'll bring it, depending what the predicted work will be.

I'm sorry to say it Darin, but I've been called to other projects this weekend. I won't be able to make it. I'll try to get all this stuff finished up so that I can make the next one

sorry we have a pinewood derby this weekend

I will try... Have Saturday off of work but may be called in due to a super high work load.

it depends on what we are doing also, I'll be driving a car out so will need a ride into the trails anyway.

what's the main plan??

I might be able to make it if I don't have to go to a meeting Saturday but I know a handful of the UNCC4x4 guys will be out there lending a hand. If I am not there, the VP Joshua Tallent will be there.

Yeah, I'm out also. Heather's actually going to be in Chapel Hill this weekend taking the Tread Lightly Master Trainer class to be like you Darin! I'll have the little ones....

Here is the news from Terry.

Hi Everyone – Sorry for the delay. I’ve talked to Snappy a few times over the last few weeks & I’m sure he’s kept the clubs informed about the planned upcoming work day. We’ll meet at Uwharrie Hunt Camp at 9 am and figure out which vehicles can haul the guardrail & posts. I’ll try to have the gates needed unlocked before I get to the Hunt Camp. Here are the projects we’ll be working on. If I’ve forgotten any Snappy please add to my list.

1. Work on finishing guardrail on top of Daniel Mountain.

2. Install guardrail on Daniel Trail near the big mud hole we worked on last time.

3. Work on lower ledge of Daniel Trail to get loader up it and then use loader to do the drainage repair plan that Flint Holbrook came up with for Daniel Trail.

4. Broncos will continue work on stream crossings.

Bring the usual tools, lunch, water and dress for the weather and to get your hands dirty. Joel Hardison & I will be working with you all and Joel will talk out on site about some of the heritage sites and resource concerns when we working on Daniel. If any of the clubs still haven’t gotten me all of their trail adoption paperwork yet please bring it this weekend.

CTB & CROC I need your actual volunteer agreement for your club that goes along with your trail adoption paperwork and club roster. I’ve attached the forms again if you need them.

Thanks a lot everyone. Bye - Terry

just told I will be working Saturday so I'm officially out now.:frown:
