Well got my Iroc's in and I can already tell I'm going to need to do some trimmin in the wheel wells.... Anybody have a favorite tool (cut-off, jig-saw, etc.) they use? I'm kinda nervous about cutting the sheetmetal and was hoping for some suggestions you guys might have, pictures are always a bonus too. I found some ideas in the search engine but nothing too specific in the fj60 category.

Thanks...

We've put duct tape on the fender to trace out what arc you're trying to get. Then use a jig saw to follow your line...

Good Luck
Chris

double cuts (electric shears) work really well, you can cut as quick or as slow as you want, its really easy to follow a line with them and you dont end up with a rough edge like with jig saws, grinders, sawzalls etc.

let me know how it goes and what you used because i am going to have to do this to mine, not tires, just rust.
