I'm doing an over nighter on Father's Day weekend (June 14-15) with my family and Daddy wants to get out and wheel. I'm camping in Emmigrant Gap (Sierra's CA). Nothering too serious, i might try Signal Peak the easy way or just do some exploring. If anyone is in the area and wants to connect for some dirt and some beers hit me up!
Just now getting around to posting some pics, but I did end up going up to Signal Peak at 5:30am on Father's Day as a present to myself before getting back to camp to cook breakfast for the group and pack up and drive home and generally resume being a father...
I went up the easy way, which is pretty easy, and pretty much had the trail to myself. It was overcast, but the light was pretty, though I didn't quite capture that in the pictures. Lots of wildflowers this time of year too. It was a nice morning for Dad and my little girl wished me a Happy Father's Day first thing when I got back into camp.
