From the Mt Blanca thread...

Throw out some available dates and let's do it.

Edit* this weekend the 12th and next weekend the 19th are no good for me, anytime after that should be good.*
Done. I'm thinking a little messing around in upper playground, then we can run Anasazi trail to get over to Frog rock. After that we can roll over to Waterfall and work our way through it. If there is time after that we can come back around and hit parts of Cobra. That would be a pretty full day.

Anything not hit on the first day we could finish on a second day and add on RJ's Trail to Arch Trail, but I expect people would need to winch the beginning. Another Nice addition would be Upper Rim, has one climb that would be hard on an 80 but I've done it.

Everything I listed I've done in my 80. That said, I'm bringing out the buggy if you guys show.

How's that for putting something together?

i might be up for the 3rd-4th October. I have a soccer game to coach until at least noon.

If not that weekend, I'm no good on the weekends until November. I'm betting no weekday availability for most, right?

G

So does the Saturday and or Sunday October 3/4 work?

I think I can make it work.

9.26 is possible for me, but its probably be an up and back one day thing .... not that this has gotta stretch into a whole weekend deal

Afternoon 10/3 sounds good to me after my kids soccer games. I can do all day on the 4th. Evening wheeling can be fun also. We have hotels, we also have camping in the glade but your supposed to get a permit. Area BLM is right here near the trails.

I'm interested.
Due to lack of interest from the 80 crowd, I am going to invite a couple of my full size Bronco friends, if that's ok... well, that and a crawler Jeep buddy. Might as well gather a crowd if we can.

Fine by me.

So set for Saturday afternoon/eve 10/3 with potential Sunday 10/4?
I MAY need to be in Durango 10/4

My plans are getting jacked up... I may not be able to make it either day.
Trying to re-juggle stuff but its not looking promising.

Any others planning on coming? I'm sure all these 80's on 35's would have a very good time.

G

I will be there with my 40 and a heep on 39's for sure and a Bronco on 35's most likely.

The bronco is the same width as a 80 and the driver has a heavy foot so it will be fun.

I just booked a music gig for that day. not sure I could have gotten the fuel tank done and tested enough by then anyway. Trout, I will come up and run some of these trails with you, I promise!

Sounds good.

The Bronco fell down. He is going to the Chile Challenge with us two weeks later so had to bail out on this one.

JSTNCSE,

What size tires are you running? What is your wheelbase?

G

100" wheelbase and 37" pitbulls

If it turns out just to be the three of us, that can be more fun. We can move quicker and hit more trails.

Keeping up with a Rockware buggy will be fun regardless of who shows up

Graham - I would love to make it up there and do some wheeling (in my 80 on 35's), but that weekend won't work for me. I will be watching for the next Farmington excursion and hopefully it will fit on my calendar. Have a great time!

Where and When do you want to meet up? Probably going to stay at one of the hotels over by the mall unless you have a better suggestion.

I'm out... fuggidy fug fug
