Well guy's i'm experiencing this terrible sound that kicks in at around 2400rpm and it's very annoying.

What can I do to stop this? I'm pretty sure that it's the fan clutch I've checked all the belts and they are all brand new same as with the Power steering pump. Thanks in advance for any info on this.

Probably a belt slipping.

If they're loose, tighten them up.

If they're tight, check the accessories to see which one is causing too much drag.
Likely culprits are: seizing air pump, sticky fan clutch spinning fan all the time.

Sure it's not the smog pump ?

There is no smog stuff. I've double checked the belts and they seem tight enough. I just replaced the PS pump two months ago and checked all belts then.

Given the above, two things to try next:
With the hood open and the engine running, have a second person inside rev the engine to 2500 rpm (the speed where you hear the noise). You should be able to locate the source this way.

If it seems like a slipping belt, you can squirt some belt dressing onto them. If it doesn't make any difference, then it's not due to slipping belts.

My bet is that the fan clutch has failed, or is failing.
