I have a 2006 HDJ-100 with a 4.2 IHDT-fte that does not have an A/C elect. fan due to the intercooler position. My A/C is lethargic at best , as I live in the tropics this is quite annoying. The A/C system is all redone and fully charged. My fan clutch, seems to be ok, It only spins about a half turn when cold and about the same when hot. It has 375,000 kms on it and the fan clutch seems to be original. It has a red hub. I have read that the blue hub is better for the tropics, is this true?. Would just replacing the oil with 10,000 cst help the issue? I have searched a lot about fan hub colors and there seems to be no real info on the differences. Any thoughts on how to improve A/C? There is no room left in there for a Elec fan option.
Thanks ,Don M
