I am slowly working on my 81 FJ but time and money are slowing the process and I am still thinking about what modifications I really want to make.

I have a new Rottweiler (6 weeks old) and it is like having a newborn at home. He has been taking all of our time lately. I bought a new Kennel for him ($500) and it is very nice. Just have to figure out some type of roof or cover for it. Last night when the Rotty was inside a skunk slipped inside the kennel. We will definately not be leaving the door open or food inside.

Maybe this spring we can do a run over here in Fallon?

Well the 4 link hasnt started as of yet but will be comming in the future for sure have to get a few other things done first to the rigs i currently have hehe. And Gratz on the new edition to the Fam Sarmark

Where are you at with it Mark?
Love pups...they are a TON of work though.
Ill NEVER get a puppy in the winter time again.

The 81 is almost completely stock. I do have frt/rr lockers, and a winch, and rock sliders. I put a new power steering system on it a couple years ago. It currently has 31's and stock rims. Any suggestions on suspension/lifts would be appreciated. I just don't want to cut on it to make things fit. I am thinking 33's but that will depend on lift.

I have to agree winter is not a good for the puppy, especially bringing him in and out of the weather but he is worth it.

How is your build going Keith?

Well Mark if you dont wanna get to serious a 4 inch lift would prolly do the trick with a ubolt flip kit not really extreme but you should be able to handle most trails within reason and with 33's you should be good to go

Ive got the Rancho lift springs on mine now...Ill sell em cheap if you want em.
Id opt for a spring over vs anything else...
