We are having a meeting on Sunday 7/31 to start planning the Fall Gathering. If you would like to be involved in the planning then we welcome you to join us at http://www.ellensharborside.com/ at 11am sharp.

Volunteers are needed as always for this great event.

If your interested in volunteering but are unable to make it please PM me.

Thanks in Advance,
Bob

Also a good chance for any new members to meet the board of directors and hear about some of the club news and events!

is it a meeting before having lunch or a meeting with lunch? Just asking as I might bribe St Pam to come if she can skip the meeting, sight see and then come back for the lunch.

Meeting during lunch Larry so we keep everyone motivated. Come on down.

Sherri,

I would have been there in Gloucester but Ernie wore me and my FJC out towing him out on Saturday.:grinpimp: Plus, I had some other pressing work to get done.

Honestly, I do hope is all is well with your FJC. I had a bit more pricey damage to mine than I had realized at the time.

I'm using the 40 for harder stuff from now on.

Larry,

Thanks for getting my truck out of the woods safely. I owe you some beer

Parts are ordered and should be here this weekend. I learned after the first dent that I can't expect to wheel my truck if I don't want to deal with the damage that may occur.

So how did the meeting go? I wanted to go but couldn't, Amy and I can help out at FG if needed.

Hey Tom, I think the meeting went well.
Sheri was going to either do a new thread or add to this one to run a summary of what we covered in the meeting.
I thank you for offering your assistance and will most likely take you up on it!

As Bob said we had a very good meeting. In attendance were Bob, Scott and Brooke, Ernie, myself and Colin. Lots of ideas exchanged and we are on track to have FG registration up on August 15th. Nothing has really changed from last year. We are keeping the event fee the same, based on your feedback with the online survey we are keeping the same caterer, raffle prizes are rolling in (take a look at the raffle thread).

I will start a new thread for volunteer sign up. We really need Trail Leaders. There will be separate raffle just for trail leader volunteers so please step forward if you are willing to lead your fellow club members. Even if it's just for one day we appreciate the help. Gretchen's is self guided but we need leaders for Swanzey (intermediate and hard), Class VI as well as for Carnage.

We will also need volunteers to help set up and tear down the registration area. We will have an awning to go in place near the bath house. Also, those who can help with marking trail line up lanes to keep things organized. Volunteers will again have their own separate raffle and we will also have a surprise gift for you as well. PM Bob or I once the list is posted of positions we need help with. Thanks to Jason Peters and Mike Fox for once again being ticket sellers as well as to Randy Elkin and Jason Peters for being our awesome tshirt designers. Can't wait to see what you have for us this year.

Based on your feedback we are doing a Saturday morning breakfast once again. Anyone willing to help cook, wrap sandwiches, make coffee....please let us know.

I will be doing bags for all registered children again as well as a raffle on Saturday night. Anyone who wishes to help get some prizes for the kids raffle please let me know. I already have a number of things being donated for the kids bags from our sponsors.

I think about wraps things up. We are looking forward to a great event this year!!!

Will there be an auction again this year. Althought it was an off the cuff thing last year I'm sure some of us have some new/used parts we would be happy to donate. It also made for an extra large donation to the NICU.

Sure.... that was a lot of fun and the hospital appreciated the extra donation.

Thanks Jay...
