2013 Fall Gathering Volunteers needed.

It's hard to believe it's that time of year again but were a little over a month away from the event and registration will be launching in the next 24 hours!

Fall Gathering is a great event but what makes it greater is the folks that attend and the people who are willing to volunteer their time to make it happen every year.

The Fall Gathering NEEDS you to continue to be one of the premier events on the East Coast.
The past few years the amount of trail leaders has really sunk to an all time low where we have had to cancel some runs or combine two runs into one thus putting too many trucks on the trail.

We will be pre running trails on 9/28/13. If there's a trail in which you would like to volunteer for but are unsure you'll be able to navigate it your welcomed to attend and we'll make a copy of directions for you.

We have a fantastic raffle every year and a great spot to camp but the focus of the event needs to be the wheeling.

Please consider leading a trail or a run this year over any of the other FG needs.

*Trail Leaders group effort - Nuff said

Lane - Swanzey - 1 day
Mike F - stock
Jr - 1 day
Stephen B - Stock 2 days
John D - moderate 2 days
Garry R - 1 day
Will -1-2 days

*Saturday Morning Breakfast Sandwich and coffee- group effort
We have had the past two years breakfast and coffee made and delivered to us. This is nice but I felt like something was lost. It was cool my first year getting handed sandwiches from the crew of Jason S, Russ, Jason's dad and others. When I walked away I felt like I was part of a community...and the sandwich wasn't half bad either.
We're bringing it back. Line up the EZ-ups and an army of cook stoves and pans and lets get it done.

Jason S
Russ
Rick B
Ken M
Bob O
Jim C

*Saturday BBQ and Raffle set up-4 volunteers needed
Grab a truck and trailer and cruise around field and forest and pick up picnic benches to line up under the tarp.
1) Tom O.
2) Mike F.
3) Chris S.
4) Stephen B

*BBQ Servers- 4 volunteers
Found a new potentially great BBQ caterer for this year.
Put together a nice menu and knocked down the prices.
One arrangement of dropping the prices was to provide servers.
Scoff down some food Saturday and then serve away.

1) Scott
2)Chad
3)Anna
4)

*Friday and Saturday line ups-3 Volunteers
Help hammer down the stakes and string up some rope to organize Friday and Saturday trail runs and departures.

1) Lane
2) Jr.
3)Bob O

I'm sure there are other things I've forgotten about, If so please refresh me below.
I will add your name below to the task which you select to volunteer for.

Raffle ticket sales-2 volunteers
1) Mike F
2) Jason P

I'm really looking forward to this year. There's no doubt in my mind that this will be the best FG yet!

Thanks for your support,
Bob

Asking for volunteers so bogus. Can't you do it all?

Put me and Russ and most likely my dad (assuming he goes)down for breakfast on Saturday. Gotta love being able to commit people that aren't online

I'm in.

I'll volunteer for Trail leader for a stock run but I'd like to step up to a stock+ trail on another day. Whatever run I'm on, I'll help spot anyone and be tail gunner if needed. I'll also volunteer as muscle to help get the tables moved for the bbq/raffle on Sat. JP and I will sell raffle tickets again if you'd like and help out during the raffle on Sat.
I'll be there Thurs afternoon and whatever set up needs to be done, I'll help with after my site is set up.

Can't wait!!!

I can help with the picnic tables...

Ill trail lead or whatever you need,,,,,,, um,,, wait well,,,, not whatever you need!!!!!!!!

I'll help with the trail line up stuff.
And I'll lead a group Friday to run Landslide and some of the other
un-used trails in Swanzey.

BOB, I guess my "pick up slack" comment landed me as a server....lol. I have never served food B4 but I think I won't drop too much food on ppl...

QUOTE: "Mark me down for saturday BBQ and raffle set up. I can also pick up some slack if needed on the spot. Thanks for a great yr. of wheeling and scheduling. It's much appreciated."

Bob,

Just to confirm, I'll lead a stock friendly or stock-mod both days. I would to mod, but I haven't had much time to wheel the Pinz so I'd like to get a bit more comfortable with it before stepping up to full moderate stuff :-)

I'll have my kids with me, but can probably help muster up picnic tables, etc.

Bob, I'll help Lane set up the lane's. Ha.
And will do a trail lead where ever you need me to.

Will you have time? Setting up Camp Junior is pretty involved!

Bob,

Let me know what you would like help with and I will.
I can help do more than one thing.

YES
Just don 't tell Rick
