Fall Gathering 2011 ~ Volunteer Sign up

Hey everyone,

Registration is about to go live for Fall Gathering 2011. We have a lot of great things planned this year and the raffle prize list is growing by the day.

As always we will need your help to make this event a success. We need volunteers in the following areas:

Set-up ~ We will need some help setting up the registration area; putting up an awning near the bath house area; hanging banners from our vendors, etc. We also need help making trail line up lanes and labeling them with Trail numbers.

Saturday morning breakfast ~ The breakfast has been well received the past 2 years so we are going to continue. We need some volunteers to help cook, wrap sandwiches and make coffee.

Tear down ~ Doing the opposite of set-up and making sure that we leave Gretchen's clean and trash free.

All volunteers will receive a special raffle ticket for a separate raffle drawing as well as some other incentives.

The biggest thing we need help with is our Trail Leaders. If you are willing to lead your fellow YT members for a day of fun on the trails please step forward. Gretchen's is self led but we need leaders for Class VI roads, Carnage and Swanzy (intermediate and hard trails). Trail Leaders are having their own raffle this year. All trail leaders will receive a raffle ticket for a chance at a DeLorme PN60 hand held GPS unit.

Hey guys, this is a truly great event here on the North East.
When I'm in PA at Rausch and people from VA and Ohio are telling me they hear it's an amazing event and are trying to make it, that says alot.
Our club BOD members and volunteers of years past have worked hard to make it what it is today.
I can only tell you that we as a BOD are trying to push this event to the next level and we really need you to make that happen.

Hey Al,

Thanks so much. I will be putting together goodie bags for the kids and I will also be having a small raffle again this year. We've got some great stuff once again this year and hope to raise some funds for our charity.

We still need more Trail Leaders!!! We have detailed maps so you will be in good hands as you head out to lead your fellow members.

ALL Trail Leaders will entered into a drawing for a DeLorme PN60 GPS unit.
