Cliffhangers 4x4 club in Farmington are hosting their Fall Crawl through Choke Cherry canyon again this year, the wednesday and thursday before the W.E Rock competitions September 4 & 5
Details:
Fall Crawl - 4 Corners 4x4 Week - Cliffhangers 4 Wheel Drive Club
and
4 Corners 4x4 Week
I did this last year, it was a blast! Really good folks and great to get a guided tour of this amazing area.
They will have trails for all levels of users and rigs.
Supporting this even supports Cliffhangers efforts to keep access to this area open and actively pro-vehicle based recreation
I'm registered, will run both wednesday & thursday and plan to attend the downtown takeover Friday (there should be a swap meet also).

OMG what a great couple of days! Cliffhanger's 4wd club put on a great event, escorting some very well set up rigs and a few clowns like me through their playground, and doing it with great hospitality. These are some really great folks to get out in the heat and dust with.
Repeated three trails and got beat up on a new long trail that apparently had some old competition obstacles. Great fun and super professional spotting/hand holding throughout.
These guys might be up for another guided tour in November or December if the weather isn't brutal this year. I think they're out there most weekends anyway.

The picture doesn't do this notch justice, it requires climbing the driver's side wall to avoid the passenger side can opener outcropping. The Cliffhangers guys spotted all rigs through it with no body contact

85 XCab, LS, built tons, etc... I think I'm in love. Oh yea, and there's like a 10'000' drop just below that crossing, or so it seems when I crept across that line
