After a long search for tires, a friend of mine tagged me in a FB post that had a set of 6 brand new tires in LT305/70R16 for $800. I couldn't believe it! My wife, who had noticed the state of my current Cooper ST's, mentioned to me that she saw the tag and asked me if I wanted to buy them. Of course, I said yes! My wife picked them up for me yesterday while I was at work. The seller had purchased them for his dually, but sold the truck before installing them. Every now and then I get lucky with a good deal. This one takes the cake so far. Install on these old school Borbet 16x8 wheels is happening this week. Having a matching spare and an unmounted spare is pretty awesome. And my wife is f*ckin rad, too! Who's running these tires? Impressions?

$800 for a set of any modern AT/MT tires is a win. 👍

Curious, what's the date stamp on them?

Best tires I have run for AT have them on 3 rigs.

I have them on three different vehicles, I recommend them to anyone who needs a good, long lasting tire. They aren’t the best mud tire but I avoid mud like the plague. I find them really good in the rocks.
Thank you for the feedback! Other than the short spring mud season, it’s dry out here most of the year.

Been running them for a couple years now.
Grippy on rock, wet or dry.
Very good in rain, sheds water and difficult to make hydroplane.
Pretty good in sand.
Excellent on snow and ice.
OK in mud. Channels aren't quite wide enough for a mud tire, but it isn't billed as an M/T, it's an AT so, you know... what ever.

They do pick up gravel and fling it or carry it. Mine've always got a handful of gravel stuck in the treads.

I recommend them to everybody and am planning on replacing them with the same thing when its time.

All great info! Thank you. Before I fell into these I was planning on a set a Patagonia MTs. The price point was right, and since the cruiser only gets driven around 4,000 miles/year, road noise and such wasn’t a huge factor in my decision. But, these were just too good of a deal to pass up. And hardly a compromise considering the majority of the miles will be well within the range of a solid AT. Thanks again for the honest feedback!

I just recently moved up from Toyo Open Country AT2 in 285/75R16 - had for several years - to Falken Wildpeak AT3W in 315/70R17.
Immediately noticed - quieter and feels "damped", as if I had new shocks, on normal surface roughness and small cracks on paved city streets.
Now - could be partly the larger rolling diameter, could be partly new thicker, softer tread rubber? But I like them 👍
Others also have said they are quiet - I agree.
Otherwise - nothing to add - haven't been out of town.
