Depends on the location, overall condition and how desperate you or the buyer or both are.I would say between $8K to $9K.
Location is definately a factor. A clean 96-97 80 with lockers and 150k here in Cali averages $12-14k. I looked for a few months before I got mine 4 months ago and that seemed to be the average.
I fianally picked up a 97 LX with 91k for $14,800
I bought my locked '96 with 102K for $8K in excellent condition here in Houston. I've noticed a price and demand increase here lately. I try to post for sale 80 here in the mud as much and as fast as I can to help out fellow mudders.![]()
Recently (Last 6 mo)...$8k here will get you an 80 with 200k+ and possibly some body damage or ****ty interior. I guess that is the price we pay to live here.![]()
When I was looking there was a guy on AutoTrader trying to sell his Col Edition with 85K miles for $21k!![]()
I've seen a guy on AutoTrader selling his '97 LC collector's Edition in West Palm Beach with 35K original miles for $35K!!!
That thing was an absolute beauty and flawless.
I wouldn't pay more than $7000....
I wouldn't pay more than $7000....
But that all depends on the condition it is in, the miles, maint. records, current tires, etc.
Prices very greatly on used equipment that looks close to new and good maintenance records. Gotta keep in mind you can 300k miles from these vehicles with out as much cash out lay as you would other vehicles in that category.
I am looking for a landcruiser like yours.
