Factory amp bypass Diy?

Factory amp went out about 50 miles into a roadtrip:/

I just got done installing a pioneer Nav unit and after getting that installed I realized I was going to want to bypass that amp anyways because its giving me issues getting the sound how I want it.
But not this soon....!

I tried searching but wasn't able to find exactly what I'm looking for.

How do I bypass the factory amp?
Is the only way to order a different harness?

Metra 70-8116 is a harness kit to do what you need.
