Hi,
My car is a LC HDJ100, 2004, 1hdfte, 5 sp automatic, european specification.
MAF and MAP are present on my engine.
Recently I have upgraded my turbocharger (wich comes standard as VNT), intercooler and exhaust.
For improving fuel delivery I have hardwired a piggyback from Unichip, the Q+ model.
All good and beautiful but less than under 2000 rpm, I do not succeed in any way to increase the response of the injection pump or duty cycle.
I have measured the parameter with the UniQ tuning software and is expressed in Volts. The value does not rise above 1.3 V when I need a minimum of 1.5 V or 1.8 V optimum. Normally I should use an oscilloscope, for this kind of measurement.
Above 2000 rpm this parameter is increasing from 1.5 to 1.8 and it alows me to put more fuel.
My question is whether you know about this engine or any kind of diesel engines that have both maf and map, what sensors or other factors that modulate the duty cycle of the injection pump.
I have read an article wich describe some form of fuel limitation from ECU under 2000 rpm for european version after year 2002 because of emission regulation.
Thank you!
