(5) 285/70/17 M/T's and Methods split six wheels

Here are pics of what they look like today. I will be pulling them this week.
Some of the center caps are missing ends, but these will be replaced after I received the same time as when I get my new wheels.
I do have Discount road hazard certs on them
1300.00 for the entire set

Here is the only rash I found. Its just superficial

This was the least amount of tread that I could find

Heck, it seems like you just got those!

Are you going bigger?

With my new travel trailer, I decided to go with a General AT/2 . It will wear better on the road. I see people wheel a/t's all the time and they seem to go the same places I do. I still have the 35" Grabbers too. My new ones will be 295/70 /16's so the wheels need to go too. I will also be running a General product, all the time.

The wheels fit. but will they fit your wheel wells ? That would have to be determined by trying them on. Is your runner lifted?

The wild card is always wheel spacers. Wheel spaces increase the arc of the wheel from lock to lock, which pushes the wheel closer to the front body mount, near the cab. If you already have a body mount chop, you should be good. If not I can actually do the body mount chop for you. I will pm you my number

How do the tires ride? Have you been pleased with them on and off the road?

Thinking about them for my 1991 FJ80.

Are you willing to split these up? I'm looking for 17" wheels.

These tires are great, on and off road. Of course they are an M/T so they will wear faster than a a/t , but these wear even and ride nice .

I am pulling a travel trailer and I wanted to go with an a/t style tire. General is my sponsor, so whenever I go to events. I put the 35" Red letters on. Since this was killing me with gas and drop in power , I got the General A/T 2 in a 295/75/16, that weighs about 35 pounds each, less than the Red Letters and are better than one inch smaller. Since I was going with the A/T , I thought it would look a little better on a 16" rim

post up your new wheels when they come in?

Sold to me.

Cannot wait to get them on!

Hey I have no money and wanted these! No fair!
Congratulations to Brices123

First two on! Didn't even change out of my work clothes. Wife says we have to go to a cocktail party:beer: now, doesn't she know how important this is? :princess: I will probably be up at 4:00 in the morning with my impact wrench putting the other two on. The neighbors will love me.
