Hey Guys
Thought I would give ya'll a heads up that my lift kit from Frankie showed up this past week. According to Frankie I am the first one to recieve his FULL lift kit. In other words, swaybar drops, brake line drops, bumpstops, etc. So far everyone else that is running the Gen II already had a lift and just replaced it with the new springs and shocks.

I will take pics and post the install on mud when I get to it. Unfortunately I can't get to it until probably next week end. Once it is complete, if anyone wants to come over and go for a ride, just let me know. I will post my thoughts and comments when I get working on it. I haven't ridden in any 80's that have an OME or Slee lift so I won't have much info on how it compares to those, however I can give you an idea of how it rides compares to stock .

Cool, I have read about Frankie's kit and would like to see it in person. On road it's supposed to be the bomb and off road will depend on your driving style I guess. I figure if it's supple on road then it would be great for a cautious wheeler off road that uses finesse rather than speed, always my preference.

I am not a hard core wheeler, however I do want to do Rubicon in the near future. I understand that is finesse more than run and gun.... I do like snow wheeling and mountain roads so I am pretty sure that this should be the correct set-up for me. I plan on getting an ARB and winch for the Front and Frankie said that these springs are set up for that.

Anyway I will keep ya'll posted and like I said, there is an open invitation for the local guys to come take it for a spin once I get it done. Hell I might even come over the hill and join ya'll for a run one of these days
