For those of you mounting tables to the outside of your trailer, this is a great option:

Patrick Table Support

I designed a similar mount for floating wall shelves while working at Target, but much lower profile. From my testing of the shelf brackets and a glance at this product, it should be rediculously strong! Plus it could stiffen the sides of your trailer...

That's totally what i was thinking. If I don't get around to my slide out kitchen, that is is going on the side of the M416!

Jeremy

Nice idea.

Would be good for the side of the M416 or the inside of a swing-out when opened.

I just bookmarked that very page not two weeks ago, lol. I'm curious to see how much it will comfortably hold with a 36" 1x8 on it. In any case, for that price it's worth experimenting with for sure.

Good find J-meister.....

I'm going to get 2 of them to attach some 8" deep aluminum shelves over the kitchen top

Swat-monster,

I'm not sure what a 36" 1x8 shelf is, but If it is a solid wood shelf that is attached the long(36") way to the bracket and it sticks out 8" you'll be set! These brackets do great!

Shelf bracket

Not to brag, but the link shows the bracket that I designed for Target shelves, I did extensive testing on this bracket, rather shallow, as opposed to the option mention originally. This bracket was ripping anchors out of sheet rock at 80lbs of force, very little deformation on the bracket at this point.

All that to say, the bracket available from the original link is much stronger.

I'll stop patting myself on the back now! :grinpimp:

Too funny. That's the EXACT shelf I bought to put a 2TB NAS in the communications closet at work.

You have pleased the 'Swat-Monster', whoever he is...

Nice! Hopefully the install was straight forward and the shelf is hanging tough!

In reference to the shelf purchased at Target... Let's just say I was happier with the bracket's holding ability than the quality of the shelf materials. The screws will pull out of the back of the dinky, hollow MDF shelf before the bracket gives out.

The shelf bracket in the OP's link should be plenty stout with a solid piece of wood or some aluminum with boxed-in edges. I'm looking forward to trying it with and without the conduit support legs.
