Im running both my ujz-100's at 10k OCI using mobil 1 extended performance and mobil filters. If/ when I sell the truck, do you think it would hurt my resale value?

Do people care? Curious if you were in the market and you saw a 10k OCI, would it bother you? 15k OCI? IMO, I would prefer to see detailed service records, as opposed to no records.

I ran longer intervals on my last truck, when I decided to sell it I paid for a Blackstone Oil report to show the engine was in perfect shape - no one even questioned the mileage between changes and the guy who bought it paid a premium (well over NADA) in large part because he saw from the report that the engine had been well cared for.

I guess it really depends on the buyer, but it wouldn't bother me if I had an oil report available to see the motor is clean on the inside.

Wouldn't bother me but I would want to make sure and ask what oil and filter you were using. Cheapo oil and garbage filters means you aren't doing extended OCI's; that would just tell me you're lazy lol. Quality oil and filter coupled with some UOA reports as part of your records I would know you pay an above average amount of attention to the important things.

FWIW, my 2008 LX570 with incredible records has given me more trouble than either of my 100's that I bought with little in the way of records. In fairness the '08 hasn't really been much of a nightmare but my 100's have just been that good.

UOA's seem a bit redundant with the 4.7. everything I've read says the 4.7 is very easy on oil... I hope they are right.

No one cares, you could never change it and in 10yrs when you finally sell the truck change it the day you put it up and no one would question anything.

No one cares. If someone looks at your meticulous pile of oil change receipts, and balks because you did 10K intervals - screw them, they will be a pain in your ass. YOU HAVE A PILE OF OIL CHANGE RECEIPTS. Almost no one has that. Don't worry.

And the truck was designed to last 25 years in a third world country (paraphrasing). I don't think they keep oil change receipts or do oil analysis 400 miles from a Toyota dealer in some small village in Mongolia.
