*Per a chat with Mr. Twiddy this week.. also posted to the national board, just waiting for it to appear.

I'll be straight to the point here, although I am not a direct PMC member, I have chatted and met some of you. I am also a TLCA member, and appreciate all that the Mud and TLCA sites provide, chief among those being the community and friendships. I hope this post will be allowed to fly as during this time of economic strife I figure we all should stick together and help each other out.

If this needs modification or removal please let me know first, my hope is that I'll end up staying connected to this community with the chance to work for and with some great people. My experience in Automotives is more than most, and there are references available. I choose business because I like to help people and be challenged daily with situations, never a dull day, right? :) I chose Lib Art Social and Behavioral Sciences because it directly relates to business administration in the use of what you know and interpret about people and the conditions around them. I'm sure most of this following information is grossly understated, but hopefully should be enough for a resume.

In other words, I am not pigeon holing myself into just automotives, I can pretty much do almost any job with enjoyment, problem here is, well the economy sucks and I need some help. Ideal location would be within the 510 area, but I willing to consider commuting to the Southern 925 and Northern 408, as well as the 650.

PM me with referrals or contact info, same for mine, I am not listing my private # here openly.

Hey, if that's what you can offer, I'll take those too! Trust me, there's a lot of faith here, let alone in posting this out there like I did.

Appreciated and if you ever need them returned let us know. :D

Hell, thats more than I know bout anyone else in the club, you may have to become an honorary member just for posting that.

Well done, what kind of pay are you interested in ?

What I would like to earn based realistically for the market versus what I am able to pull in are two different things entirely, let alone where I can go is a part of all of that.

I figure for the most part, I should be worth, at my lowest value easily $50k, and depending on the job offer, able to pull more based on my merits and experience. My max wage was near $72k for one employer.

I know the market is tight, and would accept a negotiable package based on what is in front of me at the time and what both sides can offer.

So, I am "Open to negotiation and offers." based upon what is being offered.

Sound good? You asking in general or thinking ahead for me, and as far as the "Honorary" I'll happily accept that when we get off our butts and make it to the next meeting if possible.

Besides, a guy can always use some good pizza in his belly, right? :D

Having grown up in the BSA, I can safely say, there is no such thing as too much pizza.

Again, I really hope something comes through for you!

Congrats on the potential job! I' still looking myself. That said, if anyone happens a personal chef...:D

Definitely will keep those two in mind.

As far as the O/T..had the primary w/ Gillig yesterday, not sure if they'll follow up on me or not, as it seems I was on the very tail end of their hire-up and all they now want is one more Electrical Engineer.

Next big interview's the one on the 9th..anyone with other referrals still can pm them over or if a club officer, simply call me on my cell and leave a message. :)

Oh, and just to keep things vehicle related, we went out to the Sierras this past weekend again and had a wonderful time..

Hiding inside from the rain and snow!

TTT.

So after just a short time working for a place I am faced with a couple of choices which basically lead me to the need to not settle on a job environment that has just way too many issues, won't use me as a better asset, and allows certain outright stupid things to happen. I simply cannot be dealing with juvenile nonsense anymore and am putting my resume back out there to see what I can interview for, one of which involves a possible move, but we'll see.

I honestly wish I had cheerier news here, but then again, I saw that this one I'm at now was gonna be bad after just 6 hours of working there. I am not intending to just up and quit, but at the same time, I am gonna think of both the family and myself first here.

God wants me to do better and I am moving forward on the belief I am being watched over.

Keep the referrals rolling and thanks!
