experience changing box

1990 sr5 4x4 v6 std box ...passenger side is ripped to s**t.drivers side has some dents and rust, front end is beauty, besides that chunk under the bumper it is my work vehicle, and the boss wants me to look at a new box for it.not a homemade box...he likes an oem look. I have heard the "jobber" ones never fit right...anyone point me in the right direction? i have a feeling i should just ignore him and keep drivin

replace the box at his expense otherwise

oh it is definitely at his expense...but i cannot justify his money for sending it into a local bodyshop, so say i get an oem box...how much welding is there, or isit all bolts

When you say box are you refering to the bed
If so a replacement bed will be a bolt on .

It is quite easy-IF the bolts are not to rusted.

6 bolts on the bottom. Several for the gas tank. . .

Easy 30 minutes with no rusted bolts

If the bolts are rusted use an impact to break them loose or off then replace them with new ones.
