You're sitting on your couch, watching Mad Men and thinking about how great those simpler times seemed. Looking out the window, you see your '72 Bronco sitting in the driveway and wonder, "Are there others who pine for the good old days? When the pace was slower, more relaxed."

Well, you're in luck! The 2012 Relic Run is for people just like you. The Relic Run is a vehicle assisted overland adventure that guides participants to unique locations throughout the state of Utah, only in 1970's and older vehicles and encouraging participants to take the spirit further by only using '70's and older camping gear as well.

Very Tempted to get the '72 CJ5 Up and running for this trip. It has not run for 6 years. We rebuilt the carb, changed the fuel line out and she started up on the first key flick. I am sworn to sell it but very tempted to do the run as a farewell.

No digital camera is going to be a tough one for me. Time to dig out the old Olympus OM-1

Did it in 2010 in the FJ55 and it was a good time back in the old days. Now the FJ55 is sold I'll be disqualified until the FJ45LV is done (if I can even find out where it is) or they change the dates to '82 and older.
