Yes Im interested... In fact Ill be campng at PINS the 22nd-24th!!!! Let me know you have my # Yall are mor than welcome to join us... I will be there with a group thats into the saltwater fishing thing.....

I was thinking about suggesting a trip to PINS but its a long drive for you guys from Dallas. I won't kid you either; summer camping on the beach is not something most families will enjoy. Late October is much more comfortable.

What do you guys think?

I might consider Colorado if its early August and doesn't interfer with my kiddo's school. Otherwise, a nice monsoonal trip to Big Bend might be nice.

I was concerned about your young, buttery soft skin getting burnt.

There's nothing wrong with beach camping in the summer if you don't mind going to bed hot and sweaty with sand all over you.
