Sweet brittan!!!

So loud it makes me want to lower it...:D
I don't know mufflers so I can't give you a "it sounds like XYZ brand" answer. Inside the car it is noticeable and it's not Harley potato potato potato...its more like...ricer.
I know this is the first LC Jason's done so I don't expect perfection the first time around.

Looks great Brittan.

How much? and how long did it take...that is exactly what I have been wanting to do and now that my hangers are broken it is getting more important that I take care of it.

Jason did it for $450 and it took him a day to get it back to me. Mine was the first...now that he's done one his turnaround time should improve.

Cool - I'm taking my truck to Jason tomorrow to beef up my rear link brackets. An exhaust mod was on my list of must-dos, so I'll talk to him on that too..

Brittan are you feeling like it's got more get up and go?? My magnaflow can really gave me some rear end power and gave Old Betsy the Trail Bus a new voice (yes, oh yes she will be heard)

Blues Dawg-How are you beefing up the rear links??? I got my exhaust shop to throw on some 3/16 steel and a skid plate (no bending now) here is some

My mod is similar to yours, a boxed ramp that laps the existing brackets - after they were straightened. I also installed the Sonoran Steel rear links - 1/4" DOM w/ Rubcon Express ends.

What is the depth on your rims? 8" by any chance?

Yeah, I had bent the rear link bracket to the point it was unrecognizable, I got caught on it (Charloule Gap mishap) but somehow did not bend rear link, tell me how thoughs sonoran links are w/ the express ends (I heard they really flex)
yup, check them out @ wheelers offroad it may be under the taco section unless they updated the FJC section. It has the correct back space to clear the break calipers on tacos/and fjc's.

My rear links are rock proven and have the powder coat abraded away to attest to thier strength. I checked out wheelers and they only have one set of rims listed for the FJ, 16x8, which is what I'm looking for so I can sqeeze a little more meat on the truck.

http://www.wheelersoffroad.com/tacomawheels.htm here you go I got the black steelys w/ the circles, hope this helps 16" I believe is the smallest size wheel you can get for the FJC. It was under the taco section they haven't updated their website, ordering is easy and they are very helpful. Tried to give you the link linky linky no worky worky.
