What is the torque spec for a 85 2f engine exhaust manifold. Mine seems to be leaking a lil bit and want and try to re-torque before I decide to put in a new gasket.

Also where is the best place to buy the little thin vaccuum hoses you see all in the engine compartment. A couple of mine looks like they need replacing. Can I just go to the dealer and get this? Or is it cheaper to buy from one of the parts places? I guess you just buy so many feet and cut the lengths you need correct.

Thanks James

Get your vacuum hose from C-Dan. He can prolly tell you exactly how many feet you need just off the top of his head. :) As far as the torque spec, I think it's something like 33 ft. lbs. But, my FSM is not readily available and I'm going from memory. Once all of the smog gear and the carb is back on makes it harder to retorque them, so I think some folks gave them a few extra lbs. like up to 40-45ft. lbs. for good measure and haven't had any problems.
