I'm looking at getting a new saw for my metal shop and need something more accurate then our current burn saw and for the price $300 I'm thinking this isn't so bad. I have read some reviews and they seem favorable. I think the saw is equipped with end stop tech as well.

Well I finally got approval to pull the trigger on this saw at work, and it just arrived yesterday. I gotta say this thing is awesome! Cuts through 1/4" steel plate, like a knife through a warm pat of butter. Half the noise if not less than a burn saw blade. Hardly any sparks, and the material is cold to the touch immediately after cutting it. We were cutting compound angles in 1.5" schedule 40 steel pipe with ease and precision, and it left very minimal burs to clean up on the back side of the cut. Then we went right to aluminum, then to wood, and finally plexi with the same results. One blade truly does it all, and with the same accuracy as our $800 Bosch 12" slide compound miter saw. I highly recommend this saw to anyone who works with steel, aluminum, and wood. You can also purchase a masonry blade that will cut stone, tile, and brick. The best thing about it is you can cut all of these things with one saw and two different blades. The bang for the buck ($309 delivered) is incredible.

That is kick ass! I've used cold saws(low rpm) and hot saws(high rpm), but neither had the utility of the sliding action. I've been actually thinking of converting a sliding wood type saw to metal cutting, but using a s***ty abrasive blade. That saw covers it all...

One note on the blade...as soon as the carbide begins to lose its edges, the blade will load up w/ aluminum and get hot when cutting steel. High speed saws are notorious for this. Keep a spare blade handy or you will struggle.

Man, I hope it works out for you. This one goes on the wish list for me.

if your cutting alot of alum get some of that cutting wax , it keeps the blade from loading up, cool saw:wrench:
