Care to help determine what somone might pay for my 80?
Just curious.
It is a 97, non-locked but if sold now would come with a pair of elocked axles with only 120k, and some of the wiring.
166K.
White with tan leather. Leather is dry but not bad.
Could use a good cleaning right now, but cleans up nice(interior)
Lots of dents on the exterior. Rocker panels are hammered. (I was going to cut out and replace with square tube.)
Been on its side twice. Once on either side.
ARB front bumper with 2nd generation Smittybuilt XRC8(fast) installed.
New (nice) PIAA headlight bulbs.
Windshield has a medium sized crack.
Front axle: open with 5.29's needs bearings and a new R&P (warranty from 4wp) Also needs a knuckle. Some of the studs broke, poured out the gear oil and wasted the front diff in the process. I was doing 85 on I-26 coming back from Charleston.
Can be test driven in 2wd. Dont forget includes good shape (complete) e-locked axle.
Rear axle: professionaly welded diff with 5.29s. New bearings at 157k when gears installed. Has a broken shaft but included in sale is a mostly complete(only missing a brake part or two) Non-locked rear axle AND the Complete E-locked one also.
Suspension: OME j's in the front with extended lenght Procomp ES9000 shocks(lifetime warranty from 4wp).
Mediums in the rear with same shocks. Sits level.
Needs caster correction to handle better, but its not too bad.
I was gonna (still might) lengthen the front arms when I swap the axle over.
Suspension has about 20k on it.
Tires: 11R16 Michelin XZL's (38.7") on stock FZJ80 aluminum wheels. Installed with 98% tread at about 160K. I love these tires!
Obviously the fenders have been trimmed to accomidate the tires. (not a ton, actually) They top out in the rear wheelwell a bit when really, really flexed up, but some slightly extended bumpstops would fix that easily.
Prob add more later, still a bit hungover.
