I got a 'ERR 14' on the display when I tried to access the CDs in the changer. Any ideas what the error code is before I put down the $$$ for a replacement CD changer?

While I dont know what the error means, I had to replace the changer in my new 97 lx450 as well, and the mechanic told me that as a port-added option they had a lot of problems with the changers as well as the alarms.
I decided not to get the changer fixed over $300 canadian, but instead got a new Alpine head unit which plays dual layer dvd, and now I can play over 8 gigs of my mp3's for only $450 + install.
I thought it was a better deal!!!

I had problems with mine until I figured out that you need to install the CD's upside down in the cassette (shiny side up).
