Hi Paul,

I have a BJ42 currently running with a single battery, but would like to upgrade to a dual battery setup.. Which of your dual battery management system would you recommend? National Luna or IBS? The rig is 12V and I am planning getting the Sears Diehard 34 and a 34M. Look forward to your advise. Thx.

I would go with the National Luna myself. I've used it for years, and it has worked out great for me. As for which model to use, I guess it depends on where you plan to put the battery. If you intend to mount it under the hood, you could go with the Intelligent Solenoid/Dual Battery combination for around $235, and source the cabling locally. Or you could purchase the Dual Battery Kit that has the IS/DBC in it, along with all the cable, terminals, lugs, etc. you need for installation ($395). If you plan on putting the battery inside the vehicle, you could use the Portable Power Pack and add a Dual Battery Controller to it ($560/$95). It is a dual battery system in a box, and has power take-off built into the face. Installation on all of these options is very simple. Here's a link to that section of our site.
