Have searched threads as completely as possible, but have yet to find a brand of stand that works well with the fat ass 2f. Any suggestions would be great!

better to get one with 4 wheels, in a "U" shape versus the "T" style ones with 3 wheels.

I can't tell you the correct one to buy because I didn't!! You are smart enough to ask before you buy an engine stand.

I can tell you what not to get....
WILMAR 1000LB CAPACITY ENGINE STAND

This is the T shape, and only a 1000lb. capacity which isn't big enough for the 2F. (The 2f will fit, but it is at its max!)

Second problem is connection. Can't get the lower arms to line up to bolt it in. This requires modification to the stand.

THis looks like it might work, I don't know for sure though and after frustration with my own engine stand, I would want to know if the arms line up easily!!!

I know someone that has a stand from Sam's Club that likes it alot. He puts a heavy old Pontiac engine on it. The stand doesn't flex like the cheap HF ones. I don't know anyone that's put a 2F on it though

If you move you engine around a lot you could make one like here:

Here's another take on the engine cart

The above (Buck way) is what I plan on doing, as I always tend to move things around in the shop!

If you can weld, make your own to your specs, and beef it up for the 2F.
