Clean title and recent smog in hand. Asking $7500 OBO, shoot me an offer, worst I can say is no. This market is crazy priced right now, especially in So Cal. I believe my asking price is fair, otherwise, let me know. CARFAX is attached to the post.

I am the third owner, bought used in March 2012 with 93K miles at the time. CARAX has no reported accidents but a 4th owner, which was us re-titling it within the family. It’s been a great truck, never left us stranded. Too many great memories in the Eastern Sierra with this truck. Will be sad to see it go, but we’re anticipating an out-of-state move soon so we’re trimming the stable.

As you can see in the photos, there is a bit of rake. I don’t mind it all, and when loaded with gear, the truck sits perfectly level. Multi-mode transfer case is great since it provides AWD in addition to center diff locked 4x4. Rear locker works and actuates with no issue. Sunroof works with no leaks, rear roll down window works as well.

Some expected surface rust on the underside of the truck, see photos for details. Can’t think of anything that doesn’t work, or cons, besides what is listed below. Everyone is always surprised it’s a 22 year old truck, it’s pretty damn clean I’d say.

Notable maintenance items to date:
  • Timing Belt/WP 189K Feb 2016
  • Rear Drum/Shoe 189K Feb 2016
  • Valve Cover Gasket 211K Mar 2018
  • Both LBJ 211K Mar 2018
  • Steering Rack Bushings 211K Mar 2018
  • Starter 211K Mar 2018
  • Radiator 211K Mar 2018
  • Throttle Position Sensor 226K Aug 2019
  • Master Brake Cylinder 245K Apr 2021
  • Brake Booster 245K Apr 2021
  • Front Discs/Pads 245K Apr 2021
  • Rear Oxygen Sensor 246K Apr 2021
  • Mass Airflow Sensor 246K May 2021
  • Both Catalytic Convertors 246K Jun 2021
  • Spark Plugs/Wires 246K Jul 2021
  • All six fuel injectors 246K Jul 2021
  • Drive Belts 247K Jul 2021
Cons:
  • Fuel gauge registers lower than it really is. It does register full with a full fill up, but will show empty around 210mi. It’s been this way ever since we bought it in 2012 but never bothered to fix it. Needs a new fuel sender (Toyota PN 8332035590). $100 part
  • Paint/Bodywork isn’t 10/10. This is no showroom car, various scratches throughout. Rock chips on the hood. Previous owner must have hit a parking pole which dented the front passenger bumper. They used some type of terrible touch up paint that is not color matched. Tailgate also has terrible touch up paint in two areas. Rear bumper driver side has a small dent too. All of this from PO. You have to look closely to see these imperfections. See photos for details.
  • Two small chips in the windshield. See photos for details.
  • Driver seat bottom is worn out, and torn on the side.
  • Front Sway Bar Stabilizer Link bushings worn.
I have omitted duplicate maintenance above to give you an idea of what is recent and or what the next owner should expect to take care of in the future. There was significant emissions work earlier this year. CA smog will be no issue for years to come!
