2004 LC - I disconnected the battery 2 weeks prior to having emissions done and put over 300miles on my truck after the battery was reconnected. It did not pass emissions due to sensors "not ready". Everyone is saying I haven't driven enough after the battery disconnect...but 300 miles seems enough! I have no CEL and my trucks runs great and is well maintained. Anyone had this issue or have any suggestions?

Thanks.

I had the same issue. I disconnected my battery for some electrical work a few weeks before my smog test and was told it needed more driving to pass. I had a trip planned the next weekend and it passed a week later with another 500 miles logged.

I've put a lot of miles on it since the test so I'm hoping it passes. I wonder if there is a magic number Toyota ECUs have to hit after a battery disconnect. Most suggest 100 miles, but I was way over that. Thanks for the input.

There's no ONE magic number/mileage. It depends on which monitor is not "ready." The attached TSB suggests drive patterns corresponding to which monitor shows as not ready...
