Elocker question will it work with ABS light on

I'm installing a newer factory elocker as mine is toast

My ABS light is on currently
Will the locker work assuming everything else is in working order

Someone told me it won't but in my 80 when you shifted to 4 lo the abs light came on

Same story on the 100. ABS is deactivated when you shift into low range.
