Yep, Ed was there...I think he has a '79 red 40. I think.

Super nice guy....he helped do a lot of the dirty brake cleaning and gasket scraping duties under my truck on that fateful day.

who Ed..... ? Come on out and find out!:grinpimp:

TBD, but most likely will be in Fairfax.

Please see update on first post...

I had a small electrical fire in my truck a few weeks ago!

Unfortunately, my wife is out of town that weekend and I've got 2 little league games on Saturday. I can't make it to the tech day.....

Damn Doug, it sounds like you need this Tech Day more than anybody. :D

Nah...I fixed the problem. My foot bumped two poorly shielded wires, pushing them together....they ended up smoking a LOT..but nothing too scary. I just turned the engine off and pulled off the road. I was able to tape them up on the spot and haven't had any problems since.

Actually, all my electrical stuff works! Even the horn!

Cool. If anyone has not done so yet, and intend to come, make sure you send Ed an email. see first post in this thread.

Thanks.

Ex-cellent tech day, sorry you missed it Herb. Was looking forward to bumping into you.

Say did anybody get a copy or pdf file of the diagrams Ed was showing ?

My Best,
Cahil
